looking at your blog it seems to me if you are able to send a encyrpted file to the spe and then retrive the decyrpted file.
going on how the spe works could u encyrpted the file a again.
so take a firmware update decyrpted hold to the program in puase the then replace the held memory with a custom dycrpted firm and continued the program would that in short run and encyrted it with signed key???
Not sure because the ability of the HV to check running software on the fly. But this is one of the reasons I modded my PS3, experimentation. I will be trying things like this, the first thing I want to try is decrypting a game save, changing arbitrary values, re-encrypting it and checking if it loads. If it does we may be able to make a buffer overflow...keep the ideas coming, i will try them...eventually ;)
